Dasheri mangoes are typically small to medium-sized fruits, with an average length of 9 to 15 centimeters. They have an elongated, straight oval shape with blunt, curved ends. The skin is semi-thick, smooth, leathery, and slightly waxy. It starts as light green and ripens to a golden yellow hue. The orange flesh of the Dasheri mango is tender, succulent, and almost entirely fibreless. It contains a moderately-sized stone (seed). These mangoes are highly aromatic and have a tropical, nectar-like fragrance. The flesh is very sweet and offers tropical, fruity, and mildly tangy flavour notes.
